Post 27: Airports and Airplanes
Our original flight today was cancelled, so we got another flight at 12. This flight went to Sao Paulo first and then we had a connecting flight to Rio around 4. This meant we spent the majority of the day in airports and planes! It gave us a lot of time to relax and reflect on the trip so far.
Our flight out of Foz do Iguazu was out of the tiny airport we arrived in. We got to walk right onto the plane on the tarmac using stairs.
I watched a few TV shows with Aika and Justin in the Sao Paulo airport, which kept us occupied for a while. I slept on the plane to Rio, and when I woke up, I woke up to this spectacular view.
We drove to our hostel on a bus. It has such a cool atmosphere. I love how it is all open air, and the architecture is just beautiful.
